Ask AI

Ask AI is a panel beside the page you are working on. You type or dictate a question, and it answers in the language you used. It does not replace the screens; it works through them, as you, with your permissions.

What it can do

• Look up products, customers, suppliers, price lists, low stock, purchase orders, overdue invoices and open supplier bills
• Give business figures, stock on hand and valuation, and run any report you are allowed to see
• Answer with tables, charts (bar, line, area, donut) and headline-figure tiles
• Read an attached image, PDF or CSV file; you can attach up to five files to a question
• With internet search enabled, search the web and list its sources under the answer

Nothing changes without you

The assistant proposes; a person approves. Its suggestions land in the AI suggestions inbox: a draft purchase order, a price change, a payment reminder, a draft sales order, a draft stock transfer, a stock adjustment or a supplier payment. Approving runs the normal Telos service as you, in one transaction, written to the audit log. If stock or a balance has changed since the suggestion was made, the inbox says so.

• It reads your business records only if an Owner or Admin has switched on Business data. That setting is off by default and the change is audited
• Automatic approval is off by default, set per kind of action, and runs only with the permissions of the person who asked
• When it presses buttons on a screen, a press that may save asks first, and each press is recorded

Privacy and cost

• Conversations are kept on your own computer in an encrypted file, not on a server and not in business backups
• You use Telos credits, bought in advance, with no API key of your own to manage. Pay by mobile money or bank transfer, give the reference, and the balance rises once staff approve it. Credits do not expire

Ask AI can make mistakes; check important figures. It needs an internet connection, a licensed device and credit, and the person needs the AI permission. The LAN server itself does not run it. It is not tied to a package. Replies keep their own reading direction, right to left or left to right, paragraph by paragraph.
