Finance & accounting

A real general ledger — chart of accounts, journals, periods, trial balance — alongside AR and AP aging, cash position and treasury, bank statement import and reconciliation, tax codes, expense vouchers, and dated exchange rates.

In this module
  • General ledger, journals, trial balance
  • AR / AP aging and statements
  • Cash position and bank reconciliation
  • Tax codes and dated exchange rates

Finance in Telos is a ledger, not a summary screen. Every posting from Sales, Procurement, Inventory, and HR lands as a balanced journal entry against a chart of accounts you control.

What is in it

  • Chart of accounts, journals, fiscal periods, trial balance
  • Receivables and payables with aging at 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ days
  • Cash position and treasury across every currency you hold
  • Bank accounts, statement import, and reconciliation
  • Expense vouchers, tax codes, and dated exchange rates
  • A guided go-live cutover for opening balances

Money is stored as a decimal amount paired with its ISO currency code, rounded half-even. There is no floating-point arithmetic anywhere in the money path, in either runtime.

Module shape

How Finance & accounting fits the rest of the system

Bounded

The module owns its tables and its service interface. Other modules reach in only through services and async events — never SQL.

Test-vector verified

Every domain rule has two implementations — Dart and Java — and a single shared test vector. CI fails on any divergence.

Audit-logged

Every command writes an entry to the append-only audit log with a chain hash. The daily verifier proves the log has not been tampered with.
